About Us
Steadvale was established in 1979 as one of the country’s leading independent providers of Compression and Dessicant Dryer servicing .
The company was founded by Mike Routledge who initially started the company by overhauling compressor valves then taking on service engineers to service and maintain compressors and Dryers throughout the UK .
The next big investment was to set up our own precision engineering plant and warehouse within our 38,000 sq.ft Factory in Glenrothes to machine quality compressor components to support and have total control of quality parts and delivery within the business.
Included in this growth a valve manufacturing division was established which enables both new and refurbished valves to be supplied.
Steadvale now supply spares all over the world via our Export division, spares range from consumables to major hardware such as cylinders, pistons, piston rods and crankshafts.
Further investments have been made in recent years with New CNC turning and Milling centres which have allowed us to supply & machine precision components into other market places. For example Oil & Gas, Scientific ,nuclear and renewable energy to name a few.
Our machine shop currently operates a two shift system to meet our current demand.
Steadvale are the Uk authorized agent to sell and service Josef Mehrer compressors within the UK many of these compressors are located in Biomass and Biogas plants .
Steadvale have invested in accurate Inspection & test equipment, which combined with a Certificated Quality Management System, ensures that all parts and services are provided to the highest possible standard.
